The KDK brand is an acronym for the Japanese company, Kawakita Denki Kigyousha which was founded in July 1909.
KDK is famous for being the first manufacturer of Electric Fans which is equipped with Japanese-made alternating-current motor in Japan . Thereafter, KDK has developed its overseas market since 1950Â’s and further solidified its top-brand position, where it is regarded as a synonym for Electric Fans.
KDK started its business with Electric Fans and today the core business is to produce Ventilating Fans, Ceiling Fans, as well as Electric Fans. In April 2002, KDK Fans (M) Sdn. Bhd. (KDKM) was established in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.
KDKM is engaged in the sales and marketing of KDK brand of fan products with approximately 100 different models of Ceiling Fans, General Fans, Ventilating Fans, Air Curtains and Air Moving Equipment.
KDKM is supported by a wide network of more than 300 authorised dealerships. To serve its customers better, KDKM has a total of 17 service agents nationwide.
With a history of providing premium and quality products to the Malaysian market, KDKM is currently the market leader in the fan industry. KDKM achieved a record sales of RM200 million in 2013.
